Funny facts about languages ^^

Hello Everyone ~


While I was exploring in some sites

I've collected some facts about languages worldwide and I want to share it

with you girls ^^


1- Language with the most words: English, approx. 250,000 word.

2- There are about 225 languages in Europe and they are about 3% of the world’s total.

3- There is a word in the English language with only one vowel thats repeated five times: "indivisibility"

4- There are between 6000 and 7000 languages in the world - spoken by six billion people divided into 189 states.

5- There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today. However, about 2,000 of those languages have fewer than 1,000 speakers.

6- The most widely spoken language in the world is Mandarin Chinese. There are 885,000,000 people in China that speak that language.

7- There is only ONE word in the English language with three letters thats are twice: Bookkeeper
